Mickey Bars to be Sold in Grocery Stores

Well, it looks as though you will soon not have to make a trip to Florida or California to satisfy your craving for the iconic Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar. To celebrate Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday, Disney will be selling boxes of the staple snack in grocery stores. The boxes will contain six (6) 3oz. Mickey Bars (compared to 4oz. in the parks) for around $7.00 a box. Sales are expected to begin in early February and there is no word on whether this is a limited time offering.

Maleficent 2 Starts Filming in April, 2018

Angelina Jolie will begin filming of Maleficent 2 in April of 2018. Linda Woolverton, who wrote the original Maleficent, was rumored to have written the first draft of the sequel script but it now looks as though Jez Butterworth will be doing the rewrite. Kermit the Frog Hot Air Balloon Coming Down

It looks like due to the view from the under construction Star Wars Land in Hollywood Studios that the Kermit the Frog Hot Air Balloon that has been atop the Muppets 3D attraction for 26 years will be removed.  Sources state that it is being removed due to the fact that it will be visible from the new Star Wars Land once it is completed. There is no word from Disney on whether this landmark will be situated anywhere else in Disneyworld.
