Disney Springs Wolfgang Puck’s Grand Cafe Closing

Wolfgang Puck’s Grand Cafe is closing their restaurant located in Disney Springs.  The restaurant is owned and operated by Chicago-based Levy Restaurants and is located in the Westend Section of Disney Springs. A new Wolfgang Puck restaurant is currently under construction in the Town Square section of Disney Springs, but does not have a opening date scheduled. With the restaurant closing, 193 employees will be laid-off or offered open positions in other local Levy restaurants in the area, including the Amway Center in downtown Orlando. Pandora Opening Weekend, Success or Fail?

The long-awaited “Pandora – The World of Avitar” opened to record crowds in Disney’s Animal Kingdom this weekend.  The floating islands and photoluminescent plants are now open to the public with hours from 8am – 11pm daily with Extra Magic Hours of 7am-8am and 11pm-1am. This new land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been long awaited in Disney World’s lesser performing parks.  Crowds and park closing due to capacity were the norm this weekend with wait times of up to six hours to just enter the new land. Reservations for Disney Springs’ Planet Hollywood Observatory

  Planet Hollywood Observatory at Disney Springs will be opening soon and reservations can now be made for December 1st and beyond. The restaurant closed earlier this year for a full makeover to better fit into the storyline of Disney Springs.
