Wishes, Thank You for the Memories

THE END OF AN ERA The “Wishes” nighttime fireworks spectacular debuted in Magic Kingdom in Florida on August 12, 2003.  After a truly spectacular 13 1/2 year run, the amazing “Wishes” display had it’s triumphant finalé last night to a crowd of nostalgic onlookers. Goodbye Wishes…

Disney has announced that May 12, 2017 will be the last showing of the “Wishes”. Which has been the night time fireworks show at Magic Kingdom for 14 years.  It will be replaced the following night by “Happily Ever After”. It  will also feature fireworks, laser lighting and projected images on Cinderella’s Castle. HISTORY “Wishes” debuted at Magic Kingdom on October 9, 2013.
