New Year’s Eve Fireworks Return to EPCOT

New Year’s Eve fireworks have been confirmed for EPCOT on December 31, 2021 at 11:54PM.  The annual tradition returns after being cancelled in 2020 due to the worldwide COVID Pandemic. The Harmonious nighttime show will be at 6:30PM on December 31, 2021  

Fireworks Announcement Changed… “Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls” Has Been Removed.

Disney has removed the phrase “Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls” from the beginning of its fireworks announcement to align with other Diversity & Inclusion changes made throughout all of the Disney Parks. The Twitter Channel @Showcasewishes has posted a video on Twitter highlighting the changes that have been made.

Disney has announced that May 12, 2017 will be the last showing of the “Wishes”. Which has been the night time fireworks show at Magic Kingdom for 14 years.  It will be replaced the following night by “Happily Ever After”.
