    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Sold Out for August at Magic Kingdom

    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party which is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in August at Magic Kindom has been sold out for the month of August. Tickets are still available for scheduled dates in September and October.

    This is the latest since Disney World had started hosting Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 1995 that tickets are available for ANY dates.

    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event held at the Magic Kingdom theme park in Walt Disney World Resort, Florida. It is an annual Halloween celebration that takes place on select nights from August to October.

    During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Magic Kingdom transforms into a spook-tacular Halloween wonderland. The park is decorated with jack-o’-lanterns, fall foliage, and other Halloween-themed decorations. Guests of all ages are encouraged to wear costumes and join in the festive spirit.

    Here are some highlights and activities you can expect at the event:

    1. Trick-or-Treating: Guests can collect delicious treats from various designated locations throughout the park. Cast members hand out a variety of candies and snacks.
    2. Boo-to-You Halloween Parade: This is a lively parade featuring Disney characters, elaborate floats, and a catchy theme song. It showcases characters in their Halloween costumes and includes a thrilling appearance by the Headless Horseman.
    3. Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular: The Sanderson Sisters from the Disney film “Hocus Pocus” take the stage for a spellbinding performance filled with music, dancing, and special effects. Iconic Disney villains also make appearances during this show.
    4. Happy HalloWishes Fireworks: A special Halloween-themed fireworks display illuminates the night sky over Cinderella Castle. The fireworks are set to a haunting soundtrack that includes classic Disney villain songs.
    5. Disney Character Meet and Greets: Throughout the park, guests can encounter and take photos with their favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween costumes. It’s a unique opportunity to meet characters that are not often seen during regular park hours.
    6. Dance Parties: Dance parties with special lighting and music take place in various locations within the park. Guests can join Disney characters and show off their dance moves.
    7. Exclusive Merchandise and Food: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party offers exclusive event merchandise, including apparel, pins, and collectibles. Additionally, specialty food and beverage items are available for purchase.

    It’s important to note that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party requires a separate event ticket, which grants access to the park during the specified event hours. The party usually begins in the evening and continues until midnight, allowing guests to experience the Halloween festivities in a more exclusive and limited-capacity environment.

    Disney World has released the dates of the 2023 “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” and when tickets will be available for purchase.

    We are currently only six months away from Halloween 2023 and the return of “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Florida.

    It’s Halfway to Halloween here at Walt Disney World Resort and, in celebration of the wicked occasion, I’m excited to share that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will return to Magic Kingdom Park late this summer and will run through this fall. Get ready for a spooktacular celebration with plenty of tricks and treats when the series of parties kicks off August 11. 

    With spellbinding entertainment, favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best and more, celebrate the most haunting time of the year at Walt Disney World Resort. This limited-capacity, nighttime event starts at 7 p.m. and allows guests to experience shorter wait times on attractions, themed food and beverage and more. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting April 27, and tickets will be available to all guests starting May 2. The event dates are:

    • August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
    • September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29
    • October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
    • November: 1

Jack Skellington, will once again host the must-see nighttime spectacular, “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.” Featuring projections, special effects and lighting paired with fireworks, music and iconic Disney characters, you won’t want to miss this!

    M&M’S, SKITTLES, and SNICKERS, OH MY! Guests can satisfy their sweet tooth at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party by stopping by trick-or-treating locations throughout Magic Kingdom Park.  

    See a Spellbinding Spectacle With the Sanderson Sisters     

    The Sanderson Sisters, stars of the iconic “Hocus Pocus” films, will unite for an adventure and call on their comrades to summon the ultimate “Hocus Pocus” Party Potion during the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show at Cinderella Castle. 

    Also during the party, you may have the opportunity to experience some of your favorite attractions including Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the newly opened TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. TRON Lightcycle / Run will use a virtual queue* during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, allowing guests to enjoy all the festivities while they wait to enter the Grid.
